WHAT IS COLDWOOD?

Coldwood is a series of stories all set in the same universe. In the small coastal city of Coldwood in the northeastern USA, strange things happen all the time. This is because in Coldwood, every single kind of magic is real. You may find everything from ghosts to ghouls to places where time is thin, all coexisting. Everywhere you turn, there's a mystery to be uncovered, a dark secret to conceal, or a creaky door to lurk ominously behind.

Coldwood exists in a nebulous time period that might be anywhere from the late seventies to the early aughts. The streetlamps are still oil-powered, the roads are still cobbled, and sometimes people walk around in skirts with bustles or top hats. Everything is strange and out of place, even the things that should be familiar and comforting, but the people who live here make do. Don't worry - you get used to the perpetual fog eventually.

WHERE DO I START?

If you want to read the Coldwood stories, I would recommend you start with Augur and Lane. Currently they're the only people with stories here. Augur is a necromancer whose goal is to repair his malfunctioning joints with bones from corpses, and Lane is a ghoul that he dug up during this process who sticks around for unknown reasons.

CAN I MAKE A COLDWOOD CHARACTER?
